I honestly can’t remember a time when I wasn’t making up stories of some kind or another, but it wasn’t until I was about 8 or 9 that I realized that books come into being because people write them. This was a very profound moment, and I knew then that that’s what I wanted to do.

So my whole life has been building towards this: getting my words out there and getting people to read them.

Meantime, I’ve studied arts & humanities, worked as a radio DJ, music store clerk and QA engineer; and read and written a lot.

I currently live in a little town in the Wasatch Mountains where there’s a cornfield across the street and a rodeo arena a few blocks away.
