For the record, I am not: a model, in the UK, a volleyball player, a porn actress, a Miss USA contestant, or a writer of m/f Regency romances. There are a lot of other people I’m not, but they’re too many to list here.
I’m just a humble writer of gay romances, mostly contemporary.
Eventually I hope this gets cleared up, but I’m not counting on it.

Hee! Mine’s not quite so bad, but I have a couple of doppelgangers out there too. One is a PhD meteorologist who’s published a bunch of papers and attended various conferences with online info, and the other has done work for… UNICEF? Something like that, having to do with international children’s charities.
Which is all fine and dandy, but I’m wondering which of them I need to smack for at some point registering angelabenedetti.com and then abandoning it to the link farmers. :/ If she wasn’t going to use it, I darned well would’ve, but no way I’m paying some link farming cyber-squatter to give me my own darned name for a URL. [sigh] One of ‘em has my GMail address too, although if they’re actively using it then that’s all right.

Do you check it periodically to see if it’s become available? Sometimes link farms let their ownership lapse and you can buy the domain. That’s how I got jennajones.com: someone else owned it, let it lapse, a link farm had it for a while and then let it lapse, and I was able to buy it.
