Jenna Jones conveys with words the anguish experienced by both Micah and Dune. I love how she builds a relationship out of long-time love and not out of love at first sight. Micah is a wonderful and confused man who is learning to stand on his own feet and be an adult. His angst is so real that one moment I wanted to slug him and the next to hug him. The author does an outstanding job of exploring the things that family can do to each other and how these actions impact everyone involved.
