I am not doing well in the Cannonball Read, but I am doing fantastic in Get Your Words Out. I’ve reached 17,000 words today (in 16 days, go team me) and nearly finished the rought draft of my first story of the year.

(I also went through all the stories I have planned and their approximate word counts, and I need another 30,000 to reach my GYWO goal. Whoo boy.)

So, I’m going to fail one of these utterly and manage one of them just fine. And since I get paid for the writing, well . . . there it is.

I also like it when my most pressing question is “Do I try to finish this tonight or finish it tomorrow?” That’s not a bad dilemma. No sirree bob.
